Narrative
Leaning into story and play.
It was the gateway into all that I do now. I grew up knowing that I would be an artist, drawing Bugs Bunny and the Tasmanian Devil, learning instruments, and really anything that I could get my hands on. I didn’t dare call myself an artist for a long time. Photography was the first thing that showed me how it can all weave together. It made everything… click. It showed me that I’d been an artist all along, and photography still holds a special place for me that I return to as often as I can.
Here are a few images…
Photography is where it all really started.
FAQs
How did you get into Photography?
1
It really started with a love of movies and seeing the power of photojournalism. I then discovered photo artists, like Gregory Crewdson. That all took root with my endless curiosity of humanity and the world around us, and photography has been a way to explore it all, with others and on my own, ever since.
What camera is that?
2
I’m not a gear-head. I like tools that work well, feel good, and some that are just odd. “That camera” is often a 35mm or medium format film camera, some weird Frankenstein “potato camera,” or one of a few digital cameras, like my Fuji x-100s that hit just right.
What makes you different?

I’m collaborative. The shoots that I cherish most are the ones where me and the subject(s) decided to dive in, create, and most importantly, play!
